Money raised throughout the year donated as part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

SPEEDWAY, Ind. – Rohrman Automotive Group, one of the largest family-owned auto groups
in the United States, is proud to have been part of a significant donation to support the fight
against childhood cancer. Tim Dement, General Manager at Bob Rohrman Indy Hyundai,
spoke on behalf of the 850 Hyundai dealers across the country and helped present this year’s
donation for Hyundai Hope on Wheels to Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at Ascension St.
Vincent in Indianapolis. The check presentation happened at the iconic Indianapolis Motor
Speedway as part of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge weekend.
Hyundai Hope on Wheels is one of the largest nonprofit funders of pediatric cancer research
in the country. Since 1998, Hyundai and its dealers have donated money to fight childhood
cancer when each new Hyundai vehicle is sold. In addition, for every lap led by a Hyundai
during the IMSA season, Hyundai Hope on Wheels donates $100 to a local children’s hospital.
Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital received $138,700 from this year’s donation. You can view

“At Rohrman Automotive Group, we believe in doing our best to make a difference in our
communities, and we’re doing that in a few ways during Childhood Cancer Awareness
Month,” said Ryan Rohrman, CEO of Rohrman Automotive Group. “I’m proud that we could
be part of this donation with Hyundai to Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital to support the
incredible care they provide for children and families.”
This month, Rohrman Automotive Group will also donate $50 for every new car sold across its
22 dealerships in September to various regional charities that are on the front lines in the
fight against childhood cancer in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.
During the race weekend, the No. 33 Bryan Herta Autosport (BHA) Hyundai Elantra N TCR
featured a special Hyundai Hope on Wheels livery to highlight Hyundai’s commitment to
fighting childhood cancer. Earlier this month, Hyundai Hope on Wheels celebrated its 27th
anniversary with a $27 million commitment and lifetime giving of $277 million at its annual
gala in Washington, D.C.
