Donation culmination of April fundraiser, pledging $50 per new car sold across all 22 dealerships
WEST LAFAYETTE, IN – Rohrman Automotive Group, one of the largest family-owned auto groups in the United States, announces a $92,950 donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a culmination of a fundraising effort throughout April that donated $50 per every new car sold across dealerships in Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin.
Rohrman Automotive Group is dedicated to supporting the communities it serves and chose the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as the beneficiary of its April fundraiser due to a personal connection of Lexus of Fort Wayne General Manager Connor Rohrman.
“Blood cancers and diseases have impacted many people within our organization, and unfortunately claimed the lives of both my grandfather and one of my dear friends,” said Connor Rohrman. “Because of that, I’m honored to participate in this year’s Visionary of the Year competition and inspire others in our community to work toward a future with a cure for these cancers and diseases.”
The donation was announced at Tuesday evening’s grand opening celebration of the new Rohrman Automotive Group Fort Wayne Lexus dealership. The automotive group collectively celebrated three grand re-openings in Fort Wayne yesterday, including Kia, Toyota and Lexus.
